KinkPass creator payouts, explained step by step

Creators and studios on KinkPass are paid from one shared pool, the money fans pay for their passes. Here is exactly how that pool is built, how it is split and what lands on your monthly statement.

How the subscription pool is built

Every month we add up what members paid for Pass, Plus and Elite in that month. Yearly plans count as twelve equal monthly parts, so a yearly member supports the pool every month. Payment processing costs and refunds allowed under our policy come off the top, and the result is the net subscription pool.

The 70 and 30 split

  • 70 percent of the net pool goes to creators and studios
  • 30 percent stays with KinkPass for hosting, verification, review, support and development
  • Individual creators pay no monthly fee on top
  • Studios on the Studio plan pay 49 USD per month, or 24.50 USD per month billed yearly, for their dashboard and records tools

Split by verified watch time

The creator share is divided by the minutes members actually watched on each creator's and studio's content during the month. Your share equals your verified minutes divided by all verified minutes, times the creator pool.

  • Only logged-in members with an active plan count
  • Repeated loops, bots and abnormal sessions are filtered out before the split
  • Scenes with several verified performers split their minutes as agreed in the upload, by default equally
  • Photo sets and audio count by time spent viewing or listening

Creator Boost goes almost entirely to you

Fans can add a Creator Boost of 5 USD per month for a creator they choose. 80 percent of every Boost goes to that creator, on top of the pool share. Elite members get three Boosts included in their plan and assign them themselves.

Your monthly statement

  • Verified minutes on your content and across the catalog
  • Your share of the creator pool
  • Active Creator Boosts and their amount
  • Studio statements break everything down per performer

Statements are issued monthly, and payouts follow once you pass the minimum payout amount shown in your account.

What payouts require

To receive payouts you need a verified identity, tax information as required for independent contractors, and a payout method in your account. Every performer in your content must be verified with consent and 2257 records. See for creators and our safety standards.

FAQ

Why watch time and not subscribers?

Members pay for the whole catalog, so the fairest split follows what they actually watch. A creator in a small niche earns from every fan who watches, not only from the few who would subscribe to one profile.

Do yearly plans pay creators less?

No. A yearly plan is split into twelve monthly parts, so it feeds the pool every month of the year.

Is KinkPass exclusive?

No. You keep selling everywhere else. KinkPass is an additional channel.

How do Creator Boosts differ from tips?

A Boost is a recurring monthly support of 5 USD that a fan sets for you. 80 percent goes to you every month until the fan stops it.
